I love Sticky Like Glue! It's one of my favorite on the album, it was the first song that I was addicted to on the 20ten album! I think many of us could agree the rap part should be disqualified..lol. BUT it does not last a long time, which does not take it away from being a catchy and a groovy tune! smile The build up on the song is what I love the most! The ad-lib's, and the the beginning scream! It's funky & I enjoy it! smile

Didn't he perform this one? or was it in Europe?

I saw a clip last week where he was on keyboard playing it

That was in Europe. He never played the song while here in NYC/NJ.

He played the song at the aftershow in Amager Bio in Denmark. TOO HOT! I remember he did that tight handclap-thing like he does on the track.

This song could be one of his most significant hits since the 80s if the album wasn't so downplayed.

Great song, one of his best since The Gold Experience era. It builds up nice and the latter part of the song is even better. Smooth and catchy with a lot of soul...

Love it, one of the standout tracks on 20Ten, together with Lavaux and Act Of God! This is the type of Prince music I love and want to hear more in the (near) future. If he would do a complete album with tracks of that quality I would be very happy!

The only thing that I don't like so much about it is the sound of the Linndrum on 20Ten, it used to sound way fatter back in the eighties. Especially the snare on 20Ten sounds way too dry and and boring. It seems like he has forgotten how to properly process the Linn with effects, which was why his Linn beats sounded so good in the eighties.

Others might say I'm stuck in the eighties though, which is definately true! lol

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

From 20Ten- Am I the only 1 who thinks this is not only a great song but really possesses a very old school quality production wise- One of the best post '88 tracks I've ever heard from him.

My favorite from this album next 2 Lavoux,

At least these 2 songs he should feature in the Welcome 2 America shows

Like what? I'm not hearing it. Not trying to be offensive, but I think the track is pretty dull. What am I missing?

Sticky Like Glue is one of the 3 non-skippable tracks on 20Ten, in my opinion. The others being Lavaux and Beginning Endlessly. All are top quality star star star star star tunes. music

I tend to favour certain songs when I first listen to a cd.

Now though, Sticky like glue is emerging as a tune I can really get into. It's also got a summer vibe so the time is ripe.

was it the first track you liked on 20ten? it was the first which piqued my attention, although i've since switched allegience to beginning endlessly.

Vapid, awful lyrics. Plastic production. Completely uninspired vocals.

Though "Here" and "Dance 4 Me" are great.

(imo of course)
