I have a couple of sealed copies of the French limited edition of the Lotusflower/Mplsound album on vinyl.

I seem to remember there being an issue with some copies being mispressed, and featuring music other than Prince on the Lotus disc.

Can anyone tell me what the music is in this mispress, and how many tracks were affected?

I have had a search for this info but cannot seem to find anything useful.

I do not have a turntable, and do not really want to play these discs to find out, as i want to keep them as mint as possible.

Also, does anyone know the content of the usb stick that was rumoured to come with certain copies?

The mispressing affected the double LP LF set, but I don't know which artist was erroneously packaged in it, nor how many. I don't think anyone knows how many were screwed up.

I have a copy of Lotusflow3r on vinyl but the anal collector in me prevents my hands from opening and playing it. It just sits there all sealed up, looking pretty . So I think it's kind of funny that it's possible that it's not even the right music on the disc!

I'm like this with my vinyl. I have a lot of Prince vinyl, some very rare, but i have collected them as objects of desire, the idea of playing them horrifies me.

I can hear the vinyl fans going "wtf?"

I got this info from another kind source.

Misspressing has Playaz 008 in the run out groove and it seems like 1 track.
Both A and B side are mispressed...

Apparently the free usb was just that, a rumour.

It was said to contain video and/or extra tracks.
