Prince's hardest rock song live

Which of Prince's own songs (not covers) do you think rocked the hardest live? Listening to Annie Christian live from the Controversy tour I would say P and Dez verged on pretty hard metal at times during that track. What do you think?

There are many, Bambi usually tears it up, The Ride is another that comes to mind.

Bambi at First Ave '82 is a killer.

Studio: Darling Nikki.

Live: Bambi from the Undertaker session or the Nude Tour. Whole Lotta Love circa 2002-2004 had some balls too.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Does "When Doves Scream" count? It was a live rehearsal.

I should say... Dreamer, the music.. not the lyrics. Not down with the whole chemtrail theory... there are plenty of planes flying over the country side... are "they" trying to get cows, horses and deer to fight each other as well??

Not to turn this into that kind of a discussion, but Prince was way off when he was asked to explain chemtrails. I'm not entirely sure where he was going with it, but legit chemtrail theories don't involve them spraying the chem on people on the streets and then people spontanteously bursting into fights.

Sometimes I think Prince is better off answering questions like on Bandstand.

In other words just staying silent? I agree when it comes to that kind of stuff.

I wouldn't say Whole Lotta Love 'cuz it ain't his song... He is a master of instruments, so his talent allows him to play many other forms of music. If it were his song, I would say yes... but since it's not, I'll stick with my list: Dreamer (except 4 silly lyrics): Bambi (live or at your mama's house): Live 4 Love

Also, the coda from "Family Name" is sick as fuck (even though its tinged with some funk). But its a classic psychedelic rock-type breakdown.

...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
