Prince and the Thought of Reincarnation
Reincarnation is a sensitive subject. Some people believe in it and some people don't. Some people even change their minds back and forth on the idea.
One of the songs that illuminates the possibility that Prince has believed in reincarnation at one time is the song, "Comeback," where Prince sings, "If you ever lose someone that's dear to you, never say the words they're gone. They'll comeback."
We know that the Egyptian culture prepares for return.
Do you or do you not currently believe in the possibility of reincarnation? Why, if you care to explain? What other Prince songs lead you to believe that Prince has at least one time or another believed in reincarnation?
I personally believe that it is more favorable that it (is) true.

He sang about coming back as a dolphin one time, and also as a tear drop another time.
Then there is until you're in my arms AGAIN.
Also Comeback strike me as sensing spirit.

the crux of the gold experience leans somewhat on reincarnation and life after death.

I guess that is another sensitive question...What truth has Prince entered in to, and I can see why that would be difficult to answer.
In my personal opinion, I believe that putting a body on a spirit can be like changing your clothes. I can change my clothes and still I remember who I was the day before. With reincarnation, I believe that some people's beliefs have to do with their spirits memory. Can we get 2gether

There are some song I'll have to dig up from the 1980's where he mentions reincarnation and I believe on Rainbow Children as well.
