Usually I put on "Somebody's Somebody, Call My Name, and Purple Rain" as a quick fix. Something about those 3 songs just really make me feel...well....not-lonely.

Once you get that sort of sad feeling out of you, then you realize "Prince rocks and I feel like dancing." Then I put on "Musicology, Hot Thing, or Thieves in the Temple."

And lately I'm listening to "Anna Stesia" and "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold," ALOT; not to mention "Another Lonely Christmas" has been a fave for the last couple weeks!

" Get over it, playing sad lonely songs isn't going 2 make me feel better" so then out comes Raspberry Beret, Let's Go Crazy & A whole heap of other happy Prince songs, then i get in the mood for dancing & that's it, I dance my loneliness away, feels great!!!!!

... same here. Typically, what I find is that a song may come on and it may 'remind' me that at that time I was lonely. Hell, I've been with my wifey since 2000, haven't been 'lonely' since then. When I was, 'My Computer' was my theme song for being lonely.

It's kind of hard to remember feeling lonely now that I'm older. But the feelings of lonelyness that I do get usually stem from missing people who have passed that I can no longer experience.

Anna Stesia, Condition of the Heart and Sometimes it Snows in April top my list.

I hardly listen to Prince when i am in lonely or sober or 'down' mood. I think he hasnt got a lot of songs that deal with those subjects in a really sincere way (both musically and lyrically). I always have the feeling that he is holding back a bit when it really comes to baring his soul.

Anna Stesia. my mood always seem to change with the song. Then when im really depressed, There Is Lonely. It doesnt really make me feel better but at the same time it describes my mood perfectly which makes it sort of bittersweet. Somebodys Somebody, when you wish you had what prince talks about in most of his music. And Do Me baby lol it just makes you wish you had Prince
