Prince North American Tour 2011

Prince toure Europe on his 20Ten Tour. He did do 2 dates in The United States and it wasn't caled 20Ten. For some reason he hasn't toured much since The Musicoloy Tour. Don't now if it's age contracts, sales or what bu he needs to see his North Ameica audience and the word soon. At this ate of one continent er year he shoud do Asia and Australia next year

It would be like his 20Ten European Tour with a few shows in he largest cities

I dunno starting in the middle of June he should do

Montreal

Boston

New York

Philidelphia

Washington D.C.

Atlanta

Miami

Houston

Dallas

St.Louis

Chicago

Detroit

Toronto

Seattle

Denver

San Fransisco

and grand finale in Los Angeles.

Being that he is one of the highest selling artiss of al tie he could fil stadiums with so few dates.

But knowing Prince i'll be arena concers He'd have it in theaters if he could. Maybe the usual theater in Las Vegas and Atlantic city people are doing.

It'd be endstage setup, plenty of lighting a few laserbeams ,maybe an elevaor, and a plasma screen. Even a 20,000 seat arena in a few ciies is gona sellout quick So he'd have to jackup the price, and keep media coverage low. Especially give a headsup to his fanclub members. Then maybe a finale at Hawaii's Aloha sadm wil cover som of the fans whom would be missing.

Also maybe a few stadium shows in Tokyo and Sydney to get since he wont be here till next year. Also a sadium show in London and any other very major european cities he missed.

I'm personally hoping he does Kansas City, either OKC/Tulsa and then Dallas. Three dates for me. Would be fantastic. There's no way OKC and Tulsa would both happen. This is all highly wishful thinking anyway, haha.

He's never Not done New Orleans since Dirty Mind, So Add New Orleans to that list. Thx

Peace.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Prince never skiped New Orleans? Strange cause he didn't do Houson ar Dallas for about 10 years and they are some of the nations very largest cities.

The reason I choose those cities is cause mostof them have atleast 5 million people. The most people are in larger markets and so are the tourist destinations. So people who come from other cities will have plenty to do. Even though neither Toronto or Montreal have 5 million people they'd sellout cause canadians are bigger music fans...America is hardest market to sell to. Then Phoniex, Denver, Seattle and St.Louis cause they're away from aything else. Whoops I need to add Phoniex. With the majorest metopolitain areas I have most of the country covered. But there's lots of space in Middle America and The Souhwest so I needed some gigs out there. Denver Kansas City, and St.ouis are the only cities in the middle of the country of decent size. I choose St.Louis cause it's closer to The South where there aren't many shows and has more poulation than middle of the country. I was thinking Nashville but that's too far from The Middle. Maybe add New Orleans instead. Then maybe a San Diego show also. The Southwest ,particuarly California and Texas has the hardest core fans. SD we might be able to get him to do but I doubt San Antonio. Since it could be several years before he gets to Africa and South America do a stadium dates in Mexico City and Rio. Add Hawaii and the japanese, australian, and european shows he'll have a pretty good cover of the planet.

It actually could be several stadium shows in on city. In Houston where I saw him he did 2 concerts for Musicology. That's fro an audience from Houston mainly. If we add all the cities in the area who won't be able to see him the gig will far exceed 40,000. So since the audience is going to have to trvel so far I propose that Prince do 3 hour shows like I think he did on The Musicology tour.

Working up a purple sweat.

A better USA tour would be the following:

Augusta, Maine

Hartford, Rhode Island

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Akron, Ohio

Lansing, Michigan

Charleston, WV

Lexington, KY

Savannah, GA

Orlando, FL

Montgomery, AL

Austin, TX

Topeka, Kansas

Pierre, SD

Bismark, ND

Helena, Montana

Boise, Idaho on the blue field!!

Olympia, Washington,

Salem, Oregon

San Francisco, CA

Honolulu, HI

and the finalle in Ankorage, Alaska

Now THAT would be a tour!! And on top of that he should play each show different by sending a person with a microphone around to random seats and letting them pick one song they want to hear and the band has to play it whether they no it or not!! I saw Barry Manilow do this one year and it was a cool show. P's band could pull this off and you never know what will get suggested

A our of small cities probrably would not happen. Strangely Prince has done Baon Rouge, Laffeyete, and even Lake Charles and skipped Houston and Dallas for a bit. At that size he should be abl to play Austin. There are tons of cities in Texas the size of Laffeyee. El Paso, Laredo, Brownsville, Chorpus Christi, Waco-Kileen, and Beaumont is way bigger than Lake Charles. For some od reson artists only do the 2 or 3 biggest Texan cities.

I was thinking about Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Atlantic city. Great vacation spots, artists usually do a small show in Vegas and ATL City. Maybe Cancun would be a big international destination instead of Hawaii.

Does anybody know why Prince isn't touring much lately? He's got or 5 albums of new material. Since he's getting older and wil be 60 in 7 years maybe he should do like Tina urner and retire from the road and do one last finale our. Do all the stops on all the continents, big show, lasers, pyro, stadiums. Of course Prince loves the inement gigs so the very last gig would be at First Avenue in Minnieapolis.

Working up a purple sweat.
