Emancipation is not his best album ,but maybe his most melodic?

Emancipation suffered from sterile production

but it's maybe Prince's most melodic work ever.

While the early Prince had great melodies since his early days

you must admit that most of the time accent was more on the groove.

Emancipation suffers from weak grooves but his vocal and vocal melodies are really strong.

It seems like he put a lot of effort in this album.

Almost every song is full of great and strong melodies.

few examples

Curios Child

Dreaming about You

In this bed I Scream

Holly River

Savior

Most of my dismay regarding Emancipation really does come from the rather boring, slick production and I wouldn't mind at all to see some of that material pop up on live set-lists.
