You said it yourself: the extended parts don't really fit! But it's not ok to blame the original song for it, from which they should originate in the 1st place. That's ridiculous!

I'm not really a fan of the extended parts. The funk rhythm ostinato is kinda boring (nearly the same as in "SEX" and "ICPAC"), although the music surrounding it sounds somewhat ok to me.

My only complaint with the extended I Wish U Heaven is that the mix of the 'regular' song portion (Part 1) is really thin, weak, and wimpy compared to the album version. So when I listen to it, I'm just kinda waiting for Part 2 to get started (and I Wish U Heaven is my favourite Prince song in the world, by the way).

I'm a bigger fan of the extended parts than I am of "I Wish U Heaven," even though it's a good song. They just don't work together that well for me.
