Controversy Round 4, Final 3 Down to three songs, we said goodbye to Sexuality (Great song too, especially in the movie Summer Lovers - its played on the boat where the orgy is taking place)
The three songs left are
Controversy (Only received two votes in the whole competition, its the hot favourite at the moment, but then a gain Do Me Baby was ignored in Round 1 but got savaged in Round 2) Private Joy (The weakest link, squeezed through Rounds 2 and 3, its the bronze contender) Lets Work (Been dormant too, got some attention in Round 3, the silver medal at the moment)
Vote for the one you like the least (I know its hard, but take comfort it will get a medal at least - the bronze)
Also if you can help, give me the name of the Prince album you want survivored next (But not Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain or SOTT as they have been done already)
My vote off is Private Joy (Its fun, but not as innovative or funky as Controversy or Lets Work, Private Joy is a great song whereas the other two are classics)

Awww, I love "Private Joy".... but I gotta' be realistic that it isn't in the league with Controversy and Let's Work.

I have heard controversy in concert so many times. I love the song but to choose of the 3, Controversy must go. If it were'nt for Let's Work my 13oo mile trip to NYC would have been a blowout. So, Bye Bye controversy for me. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |
