I have always loved Prince's music, but in the last year, I became a huge fan, it started with me watching UTCM and Grafitti Bridge all over again.. O.o idk it came out of no where lol.

This definitely applies to me. I found out about Vanity 6, really randomly too. Became obsessed with Nasty Girl, then learned about Vanity and her solo career. I fell in love with Vanity. She's so gorgeous!

Anyways, from Vanity, I of course was led to Prince. I became this huge fan over the summer. Now I can't get enough!

i am a fan of a huge portion of his music. that fandom is very heacy on the 92 and befor songs... but still a fan.

I'm 15. I never heared of Prince till Oktober this year, cuz I live in Germany and nobody knows him here except old people. And now I'm a Prince freak

im kinda the same, except i live in america, nobody at my high school likes him, and I've heard of him before but didn't like him as much as now.

I wish i was a recent convert to Prince and to have not been soiled by the shite he has thrown at us the last few years.

Cool that people are still getting into him though.

Man, I fall in and out of love with Prince so damn much I've lost track.

I was a "fan" only this year. Years before I just noticed him but didn't care that much about him.

This applies to me. I've been a Prince fan for....maybe 3 or 4 months now? Maybe even 5?

well I always knew about him but like really getting into depth with his music started this year

Yup. That's exactly what I did. I'm glad.

I became a fan this year, i was never intrested before and whenever anyone would mention Prince 'Kiss' (Which i hated with a passion), that falsetto voice, (which i hated with a passion) and the name change was all that would come to mind.

Then..

I saw the BET awards and i was like Dam Prince looks good for ??? (so this is where google comes in) and i found the weirdest thing, Prince has no official website, so that was where the org came in.

Oh and i know Jannelle Monae was blasted for her performance of 'Lets go crazy' but thats what led me to youtube to find Princes original version, which led me to the whole of 'Purple Rain, and onto Vanity 6 and finding out that Prince wrote 'Nasty Girl' and 'NC2U' as well as others, then i felt bad that i had dissed the one who was respsonsible for so many of my favourite songs growing up.

It's weird but realising Prince has made me less interested in Michael.

Shit, 90% of the mofos here write about their dismay abpout Prince and cant stand him but the moment tockets go on sale...."hello....ticketbastard(or whatever ticket system)"........
