17 Days [extended version] ?? I recently saw this at Kazaa. Is this legit? The only one
I know about is the version that was on the "When Doves Cry" single. But this extended version was closer to 10 minutes I think. So was there a 12" single or something with this on it??? And if it is legit, what does it sound like? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

its brilliant! "Orgasm",ie; Vanity moaning & Private Joy's solo,,,both appear in the 17days extended track. get it if u can its very happy  ***************************************************************************************

Proabably that fan remix etc..someone who is in the know says an official does exist though, yet if thats so it is uncurculating...this is my 1st of 2 holy grails. edit info: they also said the extended was just basically music..no more lyrics etc. . I'd love an official extended version of this though, it would kick some serious ass. The version on "intimate moments" of him at the piano is also quite cool. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Oh hell yeah...Initmate moments piano version is just as good as the real thing imho...Wish he would release the long version somewhere somehow (club or member release..cele release) of 17 Days. Shit just releae the cut off portion and we'll do the rest. That long version is called "17 Days (Bambi's Midnight Ball)".
I found it back in the Napster days, ahh, Napster, fond memories...! It's a cool mix because it extends the best parts just like you would like it. No extra "new" instruments, just kept strictly within Prince sounds and samples. Towards the end, it starts to get extra beats thrown in from the actual song. There's also a long remixed version of Lady Cab Driver which was just made into an instrumental with the best parts of the song. The title of it is "Lady Cab Driver (Remix Taxi Jam)". | |
