I hear you. With this album, Prince broke my heart. He was not the person I thought he was. I wonder if he regrets this one. He once apologized for the Black Album maybe some day he'll do the same for this one. At the Celebration where he unveiled this beast, I saw one girl reduced to tears.

I agree completely. After I listened to this album, upon release, I virtually stopped listening to all Prince music until I heard some semblance of sanity in "Musicology"... Up until TRC, I was a completely loyal fan, bought all the releases, etc... but I refused to buy TRC.

I've revisited this album a couple of times through the years and it continues to be revolting.

Possibly because she realised she had just wasted $250 on a weekend that was perfect just to hear this piece of shit. If it had been me, I would have asked Prince for my money back and then begged him not to release it.
