Crucial Love aka Paris info

On the Crucial Bootleg, there is certainly some very Revolution-y jamming going on on this first track. Does anyone know if this was Miles' band or Prince's band, and if Prince is actually playing on this track?

The intro to Power Fantastic was recorded live by the band in 86 with no involvement from Miles Davis.

Crucial's cover states that all the songs r Miles & Prince but that's bullshit. Miles plays ONLY on Can I PLay With U?, his band has NOTHING 2 do with ANY of the tracks, and u should get rid of this boot anyway because ALL these songs have been circulating in a muuuuuuuch better sound quality ever since.

I'll add that u might enjoy roaming on this very useful website: www.princevault.com

A while back I did an entire thread about prince & miles, but I guess most of you were too busy wondering what colour of underpants he had on that day.

What serendipity! I was just listening to Paris, a/k/a the intro to Power Fantastic today, and loving it. In fact, I only have the "complete" version of PF on the Work It set, so I dug that up and stuck it on a new homemade compilation of outtakes from the era. Awesome...wish he would have kept that intro.

OMG i'd totally 4got about this lol

Yeah, it is indeed the released Miles song, nothing 2 do with Prince. They even trashed the sound quality 2 make it sound like the other tracks falloff

So yeah, they added this Miles song 2 the mix, and the rest is as i said.
