One of my favorite all time Prince songs is Love, Thy Will Be Done.

I am so excited to see it on the current setlist.

Does anyone know if he is singing it with his falsetto or not?

Im kind of hoping it is in his regular voice, not falsetto...

for some reason, in this song, I always feel like his falsetto get drowned out by the music.

I feel the same way about "I Wish U Heaven".

Id love an acoustic version of this in his regular voice (kind of like that version that was floating around youtube a while ago by some regular guys in spain, just singing along).

u mean hes got others singing as the main singer on songs? i though she sang backup....i never heard her sing but she takes alot of cool pics on her FB with backstage stuff.

i like shelby and all..

in fact , i LOVE that he has three great back up singers that harmonize so well..

that was definitely a missing piece and a major step up from the blaring horns..

but Prince needs to sing this song..

its a beautiful song.. that needs a simple arrangement and his regular voice...

does prince read this or what?

The backup singers sing the Free/Pearls B4 the Swine/Love... Thy Will Be Done medley medley.

was excited to see it on Viage 2.

extremely disappointed that it was sung by Shelbey, especially since it wasn't marked as such and others were.

that's an understatement. and between all the warm-up instrumental numbers at the beginning, the tunes that are mostly just chanting, the truncated versions of songs, and the number of songs sung by the backup singers, I am really, really unenthused.

OK... so sounds like we want:

-regular versions of the songs

-less cover songs

-less songs sung by the backup gals

-thy will be done sung by prince

im going to throw in:

please add in the acoustic set, that was killer during musicology.... and for christ's sake, give us "when doves cry"..

i think ive heard raspberry beret on every tour since i was 11.

oh and i need to hear "the love we make" .. man that sounded so good on the european tour..

Is it Shelby singing Love They Will on the Viage boot? Doesn't sound like her to me, I thought it was one of the other girls.

Whoever it is, I'd love to hear Prince singing this, especially in these days of good quality boots.

I saw it sang in Norway and I believe it was Liv that took the lead there so imagine it was her that sang on Viage2.

Elisa took the lead for Troubled Waters and Pearls B4 the Swine.

I was surprised that Shelby didn't take a lead at all that night but I see that she is singing Angel again.

On the setlist for Abu Dhabi I saw LTWBD performed WITHOUT the other songs, supposedly in honour of John Blackwell sr. Might be Prince alone or was this still Shelby???

BTW, that medley now includes Free instead of Brdige and that's a huge improvement. Elisa's voice is very nice
