Another Lonely Christmas - Appreciation. I've always loved this song so much! and it makes me cry everytime! and it's always been 1 of my favs.

One of my top ten of his efforts. It sound slike it was recorded at 3 in the morning. And for it being a work of fiction he sure got that emotion in it as if it were real.I love his vocal delivery and the "acoustic" production of it. | |

I love this song as well, but I've always wondered exactly what it was about? Is it a personal song for him or not?

Sometimes you just have to wonder at how brilliant this guy is. Another Lonely Christmas has a strange effect on me, the way the lyrics are arranged in the mix, the whole whining guitar and flittering drums just drip me in a funk that takes me back to all the lost loves in my life and the heartbreak seems all too present. And when lyrically he reveals that this isn’t just a break-up song, but a song of mourning the whole emotion of the track just goes to another level. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience.
