I agree this didn't happen. You're right, Prince is always seen eating at very posh restaurants. Prince has been in Europe for the last month. When was he in LA recently?

I'm not buying what the Enquirer is selling.

I have to also agree here. How hard is it to just say hi to someone who says hi to you. I bet most of us just respond by saying hello to someone who speaks with us, famous or not, doesn't matter. It is called common curtosy. Besides, for someone who is always preaching the Christian way of life his actions are so un-Christ like.

A) Doesn't surprise me. Nothing new.

B) I do agree that what Dave did was rude. But not really something you wouldn't expect from him (not an excuse, but this is DLR, man), or between two people who have both lived with some sort of fame since the early 80's.

C) Prince could still have handled it with a bit more class.

D) But why does anybody believe this to be true? It's the Enquirer UK, "reporting" an event that took place in Hollywood with actual quotes, but no source? Suuuuuuspect.

Sounds like a rehashed old story from the 80s. They were on the same label, and prob. went to the same industry parties.

Dave dated Apollonia in the early 80s, supposedly had a real relationship going on (although I doubt he was turning the groupie sex down), and she dumped him to work on "Purple Rain". So I'm pretty sure Dave did it to wind Prince up and Prince prob. did not want to be there, because he had no idea what Dave was going to do, esp. if Roth's been drinking and doing nose candy. Add to that being a black belt... so Prince was prob. very leery of Dave.

Trent Reznor told a story of being ignored by Prince even though there was supposed to be talk about Renzor remixing some of Prince's songs.
