A better promo would have been a blitzing montage of Prince in different incarnations, from different tours, videos, etc. A split here, a blazing guitar riff there, vocals...all at a breakneck speed. Sort of like Michael Jackson's montages, especially the last 30 seconds of the one that ends with "Brace Yourself."

Then again, does it matter? The real fans will be there. It will sell out. smile

Some of those "real fans" aren't old! biggrin I'm offended.

Has the promo discouraged anyone from trying to get tickets to the show?

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

The promo is serviceable, it just does it's job.

In fact, it was indeed my father that let me hear "The Cross". Not that he liked it so much, but because he found the song structure odd. I think he still regrets doing that lol
