Purple Rain seems to have become an X-Factor regular now. I'm suprised Nothing Compares 2 U hasn't featured on any series yet.

I'd consider it an insult not a compliment to have Prince covered on those type of programs.

I have not really liked anything I have heard but just should make people realise quite how hard Prince is to do - just wish someone would do something not that well known like maybe 17 days !!!

My take on it, well I watched last night for one of the first time and found it unnecessary emotionally brain numbing, and I think us being hardcore fans I don’t think any cover by any of them on there would really cut it with us no matter what they sing, and especially by them. An unknown artist doing a cover would have more chance of being liked.

no I don't like it - half the time I don't even watch just listen. utube is still pretty new to me in fact so is technology generally - got a mobile I can't even work that out !!!
