What I miss are the days when Prince used to have a look or even attitude for each album. I just wonder what happened between albums when he made the transition in his look? For example, looking at the famous 3 Aug 83 concert he seemed to be somewhere between his 1999 look/phase and not quite in the PR look/phase. Did he just suddenly wake up one day after the Prince tour in 1980 and say "Look guys, I'm gonna wear some bikini briefs, a trenchcoat, bandana and cut my hair short and staighten it!" Has he ever changed his look drastically in the middle of a tour?

Yeah I miss those days as well. He used to have new colors, new hairdo, new wardrobe for every album in the 80's and early 90's. Who can forget the peach and black with the little braids from SOTT or the polka dots and long hair from Lovesexy. I always looked forward to what the new year would look and sound like from Prince. Those were the days. He's looked pretty much the same this past decade.

I think he changed his look 'cause his managers said he couldn't dress that way.
