According to today's Mirror newspaper, Prince is due to have his own special show on ITV! He will be performing his classic hits, and answering questions from the audience. This is due to be aired Christmas or just before.

It doesn't say whether it will be recorded in the UK or USA, but it will be for British TV.

I hate those shows! Bit cheap for Prince isn't it? I though he had more class lol

God no, not that paper! I tried to find the Mirror article online but couldn't find it. I actually bought the Mirror this morning and its in there, but can't seem to find it anywhere else online.

^ Isn't the Mirror the same paper that gave away the album? Why would they print something that wasnt true about Prince? It wouldn't be in there interest too or need too, they just had a massive deal with him.

Anyway we shall see if this TV special goes ahead or not I hope it does. It would be nice to see Prince on British TV again.

Of course there to sell papers and the Star is probably the worse paper in the world for lies, then the Sun, then the Daily Mail which is some lying snobby racist paper. I dont think The Mirror isnt that bad and is a lefty paper, they still did a deal with Prince after all. But still why would the Mirror wanna make up story like that, its not a big article, Prince being on TV is not exactly topic of the week or an exclusive for the Newspaper and nobody cares about Prince here apart from us fans.

Maybe they're confusing it with the NY specials (if they're in NY).

Would be nice to see the personable side of Prince.

In huge organisations though not everyone is in the loop.

So we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully some shows will be broadcast or streamed.

A bit cheap ..... here come the "Prince" snobbery ... the fact Prince has been on British TV many times before including Top of the Pops .... I'm not sure where "class" comes into it....

It's about the music and presenting it to the public .....

I can't see this happening. the audience is usually made upof low rate celebs (soap stars and the like). Prince wouldn't even know who they were!!!

It would be better if he did it to a small select group of fans LIKE ME - how cool would that be
