2 words: "Prince Show"...

He HAS to have Fred Armisen there. Payback. Fred also played drums for Blue Man Group before doing Saturday Night Live.

1st i thought

ridiculous

then-turn on the telly last night

An audience with

Celine Dion!!!!!!!!!!!! not my cuppa-but gotta admit-she is a superstar.

audience-all corrie-eastenders, louie walsh etc..............

and Celine 'seemed' to know em' all

but still can't picture P doing it over here

if he ever did-it'd be filmed at the Park-with his full-FULL control-audience-questions-everything

and rightly so too

Thats the thing theres no show on mainstream telly that he could go on apart from An Audience with...all the music shows have gone off our screens. Theres xfactor but I sure we could all agree thats way too beneath him. Theres music programs on late night C4 but thats targeted for new music, Prince is too old to go on there. Then theres Jools Hollands but even thats too small for him, so the only thing left is a An Audience with.

We shall see.

eek

Seems completely unbelievable, but after all the shit he's pulled over the past few years, it wouldn't surprise me.

For anyone outside the UK: ITV is basically the lowest common denominator TV channel. Schlock mainstream rubbish (Xfactor, soap operas, etc). This is the EXACT opposite of a mark of quality, the 'Audience With' shows are cheap, nasty studio affairs, that cheapen everything they touch. Expect the worst if it's true - sorry if I offended any lobotomised chavs who enjoy ITV smile

I've always thought he'd be good on Later. However Jools Holland used to loathe Prince when he used to present the Tube in the 1980's

Sadly this now sounds more believable.

I actually thought for a second this could be a good thing.

Poor poor Prince. He's gotta eat though.

Can u imagine Prince just finishing Little Red Corvette then asking 4 cheeky cockney lad about town soap star, jungle legend(squeaky voiced arsehole) Joe Swalsh 2 ask him a question...it would go like this......

Prince...."Joe Swalsh next question, where r u Joe?"(Prince peering in2 audience to pretend he would recognise him straight away when spotlight hits Joe

Joe Swalsh......."Awight mate?I fink u r brilliant man but what I wanna know is ow come a geezer like u who's shorter than my nan get so many birds?"

Somehow I couldnt and as we r talking about ITV whats the betting anti-christ Cowell would have something 2 do with it......

Prince no dont but if u do make sure there r some credible guests there,in fact no dont just contact Jools smile

Prince missed his chance to duet with kermit on the muppet show so maybe he can do it on this instead

I want to see him answering questions from Joe pasquale and bill odd.

If this happens it will be the most hilarious thing ever.

Can you imagine Norris from Corrie, Piers Morgan and Dale Winton asking Prince questions?

It'll be a bloody hoot, and a miracle if it goes ahead.

But Jools is as big a cunt as anyone who appears on these Jeremy Kyle holding pen audience with bollock programes.

Prince should just steer clear of UK tv altogether.

Prince on Later.....with arsebag Holland would be just shit. Boogie Woogie versions of Purple Rain and Kiss anyone? No thanks!

Hold up!
Has everybody forgotten his '04 appearance on Canada's More Than Music?
He answered audience questions that he clearly wasn't in control of.
Give the guy some credit...

i suppose it depends what prince turns up...there is at least 3 different personalities in his head...as long as the dour religious guy doesnt turn up...it might be bearable i suppose...i think it's because i hate saturday night tv in the uk soo much....it's just banal shit for the masses...that's why i feel uncomforable that my musicial hero would be on it....i know he did americian idol a few years ago but he just appeared.....did his two songs then f**ked off....he didnt want to be there any longer than he needed to promote the 3121 album...so i dont know...as much as i would love to see him on uk tv....its just soo bad... confused

I don't know if its true but would be good to see P on tv. I remember a rumour that he was going do a pay per view channel just for his stuff but guessing that would only be in the US. Shame I'd pay to view !!!!!

I gather u dont like Jools Holland mate but his programme is probably the most credible music show on tv at the moment and has been imo 4 a few years now.I would love to c Prince on that show, even if they devoted a show 2 Prince and if Jools maybe brushed up on his shit interviewing skill I would deffo watch it.

lol i wouldn't object at all but only as long as he combined his visit with a cameo in emmerdale.. doing a bit of door knocking, having some dialogue with the dingles culminating in funky performance on the bar in the woolpack. heaven.

No i don't like him, but his show just happens top be the only real music show the BBC has to offer. so i guess we are stuck.

If Jools just shut up, did not interview Prince sitting at the piano, did not show the audience a clip from Purple Rain on a tv screen, did not join in with the NPG on piano (though i doubt this would happen anyway) and all the massively predictable shite he usually does, it would be a good show.

But regardless, i'd watch it and record it anyway, even with runt Jools lurking about in every corner.
