Your Favourite 12''...... After hearing so much about Princes amazing extended mixes I finally got my hands on some. Both the Peach & Black & Prince podcast have mentioned some classics like "La La La, he he he" and "America". I'm loving listening to these long versions, right now my favourite is "anotherloverholenyohead" absolutely OUTSTANDING and better than the album version. You can hardly go wrong with the 12" single that has the extended version of Mountains on the A side and Alexa de Paris on the B. That's some serious aural sex, right there. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

T's set is an awesome start and the "remastering" makes the songs sound great! The idea was to put songs on CD that were originally only available on vinyl, that means a lot of the later remixes aren't on the set. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |

I agree, it is a great set. And a good place to find the earlier, rarer 12inch versions that were not available on cd. Hats off to T for this compilation.

I love all the extended versions from For You up to Batman but my favorite has to be the long version of Sexy Dancer. Too funky.
