I called it too, and it sounded odd. No info on tickets, how to buy them or anything. I'm a little skeptical, but who knows, right?
What was the ORIGINAL source for this post? Where'd that info come from? Also, is this just another ONA set? I hope not. I've seen that show twice and have beat the CD's to death. | |

Could be true & just sketchy right now, but anything's possible for All Star Weekend & you know P loves him some b-ball...

I remember that he was supposed to re-open a club down here in 2000. Despite the Club's owner mentioning negotiating with Billy Sparks on a local station, this event never happened.
He was also supposed to perform in Australia during The Olympics in 2000. That recorded message some are getting leaves a little to be desired. I think that they are just being vague to slow down Low-Grade The Scalpers down here. Since The NPGMC remains on hiatus, Mr.Man can pull one of these without notifying members. What can you do? Call The Better Business Bureau? Ooops! I'm afraid that this may be an "uppity" exclusive industry gig for "insiders". I am sure that Prince wants some real folks there as well. Y'know.. The tickets may be scarce because most of the entertainers who like P will be there. I will attend. To all the Florida Folks who may think of coming up: Don't. Larry Graham will be here. Could very well be for celebrities and their guests only. But 3? I hear you. Even though some have mentioned that they are not so sure folks would have been e-mailed, if it was a performance open to the general public - I think the club / or past club members would have e-mailed. We were e-mailed in January regarding downloads - and that was surely past Dec 31. | |

ok, ok, i sent a emale 2 The NPGMC asking them "What's Up" & i haven't recv'd anything back... yet. but The NPGMC would probably send an emale 2 every1 who was a Member last year that P is doin' somethin' there (or not)...

Just got this from dovecity email in Atlanta:
"According to WVEE V-103 Radio Station-Promotions Dept., Prince has decided not to do the show. When I spoke with the Promotions Dept. this morning, I was informed that Prince has made other plans. Now, how true that is, I don't know. Use your own discretion. When asked whether he was ever actually on the list to perform, I was told YES. But then again, what else could they say. As of this afternoon, they have taken the information off their website Promotions Board. They told me that other artists will perform that night. If you are still interested in going, tickets may be purchased at the Club Bubbles Box Office, which opens at 12 noon. Sorry for the confusion." Oh well!
