Hey all, I got in from a night out in the early hours of this morning, I was under the influence of alcohol and... 'special' tobacco, and was feeling... quite nice. As tired as I was though I didn't want to go to sleep, so I decided to spin 'The Undertaker'...Man, this song sends me somewhere else, the ultimate Prince trip out. That bass line just keeps on going (I wonder if Sonny got bored playing two notes constantly for 10mins)...

For me, the obvious answer is 'Joy In Repetition'. Or 'Beautiful Strange'. They're head-trips in themselves.

My friends STILL take the p*ss out of me over this but we went to Amsterdam a few years ago and - after sampling a few local 'delights' - I was listening to 'Sign O The Times' (the album), mesmerised and ranting on about how I was 'IN' the music. Christ alive! (There again, the same weekend I also managed to convince myself I resembled a Dutch celebrity - ! - and that everyone was copying my dance moves. NEVER AGAIN!).

Great night, though - they played 'Kiss' and 'A Love Bizarre'. *Sigh*
