Are there any good Prince songs for Halloween? We all know we can count on "Thriller" being played at a Halloween party...but what about a Prince jam... Halloween is my favorite holiday even though I know Prince probably doesnt celebrate it. So are there any Prince songs that have a dark, scary, creepy feel to them?

Batdance would be awesome. It's pretty crazy, minus the "I wanna bust that Body" part in the middle How'm I gonna fill this empty room...

"There's Others Here With Us" is definitely on the Halloween Playlist... I always whistfully hope there are other "freaky" songs like that hiding in the vault.
"Dance With the Devil" might fit in that mold as well.
Mayyyyybe "Bob George", I'm not sure how well that would be recieved whilst bobbing for apples.
I guess if you go by titles alone, "Freaks on this Side" might qualify. The problem is, you have to listen to "Freaks on this Side".

"There's Others Here With Us" is Prince's version of a horror movie.

How about the "7" mixes? With the "spooky" laughter! To whomever it may concern you must come to your senses...

Esp Electric Chair.
Also Nine (1st song) from Madhouse 16. The one where some one is yelling "Welcome to the Madhouse!!!" and laughs like a lunatic...

What album is this on? Never heard it

The actual title is "Others Here With Us" but it is often referred to as "There's Others Here With Us." It's an unreleased Parade outtake.

There is a version of Computer Blue that is very raw and the guitar playing is even more dark I think it's an 11 min version

Wasn't Darling Nikki part based on The Addams Family or The Munsters theme tunes? Kind of fits the part in that regard.

I'm surprised no one has said "Shockadelica". I've always thought those lyrics had a Halloween-ish feel. Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful

'Partyman' would work well... some sinister chords in there. The 'Purple Party Mix' version fits good too, come to think of it.

Try the whole MPLSound album if you want their ears to bleed.
failing that, there used to be a pretty cool bootleg mix of Come On with the Thriller backing music. blah blah blah

"Everybody loves me". Its a horror of a song

Very close. It was done around the Parade recording sessions, but was not actually considered for the album or the project. He was still on that "life after death" trip then.
Honestly, how would that song ever fit into the scheme of the movie?
That said, it's more appropriate to call it an 85/86 outtake rather than a Parade outtake.
