Was just rereading Prince's Bass Player interview of 1999 (http://princetext.tripod.com/i_bass99.html), and Takumi, P's old guitar tech, mentions an Ibanez Soundgear being among one of the man's basses. This surprised me because, unlike the Warwick Thumb, this one is actually within my price range! Does anyone know more about this bass? which model it is? pictures? etc.
