I have been a Prince Fan since 1985, that's 25 years now. After watching Purple Rain on VHS. The scene: when he is playing the piano and singing The "Beautiful Ones". It is true when he sang:"When U Hear My Music, U B Having Fun, That's When I Got U, That's When U Mine" - ("My Name is Prince"). Thanks to all the true Prince Fans for the posts. Keep them coming!

I know his music since 1990...

When PR came out in 84. I was 7. I didn't see it in the theater (mom wasn't going for that), but I do remember all the hype. I LOVED that he was what I called at the time half man half woman. I mean I KNEW he was a man and didn't get gay vibes, but I'd never seen no ish like that before, cept maybe MJ, but he didn't really start with the hard core makeup and what not till the Bad album...
