a prince drum-solo reminds me of a jimi hendrix drum-solo

recently i listened to jimi hendrix album "axis bold as love". and when i heard the drums in the beginning of the song "little miss lover" i recognized that this drum-solo reminded me of the drum-solo in the beginning of the song "tick, tick, bang"from the album "graffiti bridge".

does anybody else agrees on me....? biggrin

Yep, it's a sample, or a very well-played replaying.

Also, Prince used the drums from Tower of Power's "Squib Cakes" on The Time's "Release It".
