My only Prince show was the Musicology Tour in NYC. My memory is shat sometimes so I can't remember which of the dates it was. I remember being by myself cause my friends had already gotten tickets for another day that I couldn't go. So I said eff it, I'll just go alone.

Prince esta muerto...

almost the same here...

Lovesexy and then both Musicology shows in Houston... wait I saw him on the Tamar tour (he was her gutarist) at the small venue club in Houston. With the twins, so that was after Musicology.

Cured my fear of heights instantly and, to this day I have never been to such a theatrical gig or one with such great acoustics

By the set list of the Houston Lovesexy show it looks like a really good one. The piano part had a lot more songs than most shows. I went to the 3rd show in Chicago. Instead of the Take This Beat portion of I Wish U Heaven, we got I'll Take You There with Mavis Staples guesting. We also got the only perfomance of Sign O' The Times on the whole tour. I would have been pissed if I went to one of the shows that didn't get a piano perfomance or Alphabet St.

Seen him in total 7 times. But best concert i eva saw of any artist was 1992 Diamond & Pearls tour (Main Road Manchester City Soccer ground). This concert had a massive stage with 2 giant female Greek sexual figures on each side. There was dancers all over the place, every song was intensely styled visualy and in audio. At time it was the biggest grossing European tour of anyone. Prince nearly wore different outrageous costumes for each song nearly. Prince was only young then (30s), thus more agile and danced and moved a lot, even playing with his mike stand (like James Brown).

The album was hugely successful grossin six million, and the new love symbol album entered at number 1, and sexy mf made top 5 in singles chart. At the time.

Musicology, June 16th

Got into him as the ONA tour was ongoing. Would've loved to have seen that, but it was a little too late to get tickets at that point.

Orphuem Theatre, San Fransisco. '07

He had Sheila. E., Maceo Parker, and Larry graham with him. Seeing him in a small venue like that was an unforgettable experience. He had just come off of his Vegas stint though, so he mistakenly called out "Las Vegas!" at one point.

Still the best concert I've ever been to. Need to see him again next opportunity I get.

Purple Rain tour, Rosemont Horizon in Chicago.

I wore black leather pants, a purple angora sweater, and purple suede and snakeskin boots (which I still have). It rained cats and dogs all the way from Madison to Chicago - I'm lucky I made it, at all.
