My favorite Aunt took me to my first Prince concert and he Opened for Teena Marie... I was about 8 or 9 at the time... I think it was the Prince album he was supporting

Interesting shows to compare btw, now that you mention them. Similar in setup too, big difference being Prince handling the show: Carpeting the stage, getting upset (ok, the roof broke and he was showered with water, killing his perm and his electrical piano, but still lol ) and cutting the show short in 1990 versus making the best of it and making the audience forget all about the rain in 2010. Guess some things improved after all!

Parade-1986 Wembley Arena. Amazing but as I have said in black bob's thread -I don't think I was quite sophisticated enough at 14yrs of age for such a performance based concert-I still needed the spectacular-which I got when I went back in 88 for the Lovesexy concert
