Can I get some help with some live pics of prince from like 1993/1994.. especially during the SOV aftershow??

Not pictures of the actual aftershow, but a couple of pictures of him arriving to play the aftershow.

By SOV i assume you mean the performance that was filmed at Bagleys Warehouse in London at the close of the Act II tour?

I was also trying to see if I could get a clear shot of his pedal board... haha I saw abit of it during the peach performance... i love that video

The Sacrafice Of Victor video is really superb, it would have been better without The Game Boyz section, but that is just my opinion. The tracks where prince playes guitar are brilliant, i would love there to be an official dvd release of this show.

If Prince isn't some day crowned Best Dressed Person Ever, it will be an injustice.

GREAT PIX...thanx for posting....Bagley's was unforgettable...this was the day my sis n I had Prince for breakfast at BBC Radio 1, early dinner at D & P at Earls Court n late supper Bagleys! We didn't eat for days....

Mmmm, Bagleys was at the close of the Act II tour 1993, not D&P, which was 1992.

i was at this aftershow. those that got to see him eventually play had a great time. but i will never ever forget the horrendous crush, heat and almost panic before hand.

tiny room that only fitted a small percantage of the whole club. when people found it there were far too many. security shut everyone in to stop more people. temperature rose... they ran out of water. people were fainting. then when the band hit the stage at 3am or something Sonny T couldn't understand the hostile crowd. "What's up dammit?" he shouted.

Prince calmed things down. But boy was it badly organised.

nuthinbuttamuffin -> good summary I think, I was there too and seem to remember joy of attending aftershow was quickly lost !

I think they had some type of egyptian theme with sand and flames (!) or something outside the venue, hoping people would spread out a bit, but of course everyone wanted to be in the room with the stage for when he (finally) showed up. And for sure they overfilled it.

Still, I got to dance with Betty Boo in the crush, which sort of made my night

And Mayte landed on top of me when she stage dived! So gutted i didn't have a little grope!

Don't wanna go off topic but it was a weird night wasn't it?!!! For most it was their first aftershow as the whole colaboration between Controversy Fanclub and Prince meant you could by tickets in advance and guarentee yourself entry. But it was really badly organised.

I just remember lots of girls in their bras as it was SO hot... but it was so hot i didn't care to look at scantily clad women.

Yep it was totally wierd, I was completely naive in those days and hadn't even heard of Bagleys before that night! I don't think I ever classed it as an aftershow, it was too well organised, and not much felt like it was left to chance. I remember being outside when he turned up, and catching a glimpse of him stepping out the car...and I remember driving home at stupid o'clock the next morning when other peeps were going to work.

Now when we followed a tip off and got into Emporium, that was a fr**king aftershow that felt special ! Blow your mind, Blow your mind...
