especially the SOTT film or Rave DVD . . . the force takes me over. just incrdedible! I'm sorry, Joshy, but I have to disagree with you on this one... SOTT - definitely...brilliant. BUT! Rave DVD - Larry Graham completely fucks it up into a majorly corny preaching piece of testicle skin. Maybe he's a nice guy in person, but I hate his warbly dull preacherman voice and his bass playing is highly overrated. He manages to fuck up every Prince song he's on. Including Joy In Repetition on "It Ain't Over". Rhonda can switch the pedals just fine on other songs with the bass distortion...but she uses it musically and SPARINGLY...LARRY on the other hand puts it in there THROUGHOUT Prince's solo and it is distracting in the mix and sometimes not quite even in time. Shit how I hate that! Okay, I feel better now.

The songs that gives me the goose bumps are either:
"Nothing Compares 2 U live"... as on hits or ONAL or "Everlasting Now" live as on ONAL or "Temptation"... when he goes nuts and sounds like he can barely stand the feeling when he sings: "I love it when our bodies TOUCH!" And he hits a very fucking high micro-squeal on the note of "touch". Goosebumps AND hilarious the first time I heard it.

"Joy In Repitition" off ONA Live nails me every time. The last chorus on "7" always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end, and... Damn I can think of so many. I can't imagine that any1 wants 2 hear them all. The Mothership Connection... Funk, Soul, R&B, & Jazz every Monday night @ 8:00 p.m. Listen @ www.wqaq.com (We are off the air 4 the Summer. Returning in early September 2004)
