I remember reading somewhere that Parade was originally intended as a double album. Whether this is true or not, imho the Parade album would be up there with SOTT as his best album if it had the extended versions of Mountains, Anotherlover.. & Kiss with the outtakes & B-sides.

Does anyone have any idea what a Parade double album tracklisting would look like? Do you think as a double album, parade would have been one of princes top 3 albums?

Unless you're referring to Dream Factory, which was to come after Parade.

A 2disc Parade including tracks like Splash, Heaven, All my dreams, Adonis and Bathseeba, Go, etc... would've been too good for this world.

Parade was never going to be a double album, the reviewer is simply misinformed.

I did make my own 'double album' version of Parade though once.
