For those who wanted to know more about the German Rolling Stone interview

I am German and I recently received my copy of the Rolling Stone. By the way the magazine sold out in no time and is no longer available anywhere and can't be back ordered either. There are only a few copies left on e-bay that sell for up to $40 a piece.

There is no need to translate the whole article. The interview itself is rather short and the article is mostly about how Prince is perceived in Minneapolis by the citizens there and that almost everyone from the cab driver to the restaurant owner has a Prince story to share when asked.

In the interview Prince doesn't talk much about anything we already know...his views about the world, God and music and how he only very seldom allows strangers into his private circle of friends..the usual.

The most interesting part for me however was that he mentioned that he had plans to remodel and reopen Paisley Park to the public again and he talked about the return of the Paisley Park parties. He wants to do something that makes the citizens of Minneapolis aware that Prince is back in town.

And yeah, that he is bored with the internet and pretty much done with it, so I guess we don't have to expect a new Prince site/ fiasco anytime soon.

Bria wasn't mentioned at all in the entire long-ass article. In fact he was being portrayed, and I quote as "Prince the lonely king of Minneapolis who wants to save the world with the power of music"

It seems that this time Prince is really serious to keep his love life private and off limits. Usually he flaunts his women and makes sure that the world knows how happy he is and that this time it's the right one, the soul-mate, the only one, the future-baby mama.

Maybe at the ripe age of 52 and after 2 failed marriages he is now more cautious to officially announce his love interest to the world...maybe he knows by know that eveyrthing that glitters ain't gold.

Hmmm. Didn't the woman (man?) in the other thread say she saw P gesturing towards a building at PP like he was thinking about making moderations? That was what came to my mind reading what you said about him remodeling.

He kills me with this "bored of the internet" thing. It's really quite funny, that he was all about it for about 5 seconds till he wan't. Ugh.

Thanks for the update and review of the article, much appreciated. smile

Doesn't he get excited about almost everything for about 5 seconds before he loses interest and moves on to something or somebody else? Could be ADD lol !

yeahthat

The place definitely needs some work. The "egg" thing is an eye sore. The roof on it is all rusted. They were doing some work on the glass pyramid in the front of the main building the other day. The lawn looks good though! lol

noticed how in this article the journalist mentions seeing the belgian journalist in another room and some folks were speculating that a couple of the recent prince interviews sounded similar...maybe this belgian journalist was the only one (besides RS journalist) to have access to PP and do the interview...however, i could be wrong

confused
