I'm still holding out for my CD in the U.S. -- soon.

If it's not happening I can always order it.

I listened to a second of one song and stopped it.

I want the total experience.

I've found music, like movies, are better without "spoilers."

The CD will still be new to me whenever I get it.

Is anyone else holding out for a CD?

If my experiences with Prince's albums can be made analogous to my experiences of the women in my love life, 20Ten has been the equivalent of a boring girl I never called back for a second date.

I hadn't until about 30 minutes ago, when I listened to "Lavaux" on YouTube.

Like the others, I'm waiting for my CD to get here. I'm going to listen to the whole thing properly - in my house, with the stereo turned up to 11.

I've only heard a brief sample of three of the songs that was posted in another thread about a week or two ago. Two of them sounded good and one of them sounded great.

My computers at home have all crapped out, so no downloading for me.

I have local friends working on it so hopefully I'll have a copy on cd soon.

Nope, not a song . I refuse to ruin the experience for myself. I am only going to listen to it when it comes in the mail. I do have to say that its killing me though...

From the lyrics though, Im going to go ahead an say that my fave is going to b lavaux.

I haven't heard any of the songs all the way through, but I've listended to samples of a few, and am in hurry to listen to the rest. and if I never do, I'll be fine just the same. it ain't on my bucket list, atht's for sure.

I had to get it, I found it ridiculous that it was available everywhere except here.

Although I think I like only about half of it. Most of it is bland. I though Lotus Flow3r and MPLSound were brilliant, and I admit that I'm disappointed after getting THIS after those two albums last year.

I haven't heard the album, apart from the small little snippets that were posted. I haven't gone to the proper channels to get it online.

I don't really know why I haven't heard it, I'm definitely interested in hearing it.

I have been very blessed to have a copy sent to me from a couple great Prince fans/new friends in the UK, Maddy and Dawn. I also received the Mirror article. I'm diggin the new songs, but I fear many of Prince's criticle fans in the USA may not like the Retro-Eletro funk on 20TEN. I love the return of the 80's style rhythm guitar! It's been wayyyy 2 long!

Wait and judge for yourself. I can tell by some reviews and comments on this tread that some are seeking that "cherry high". Well, that only comes once and those still seeking it need to adapt and move forward. Just my opinion. 20Ten is a good project and it's been playing all week in my rotation. I'll be intrested in hearing what you think once you get it.

Because being a Prince fan has a lot of responsibility and being a fan also has it's rewards...Last nigh I listened to "For You."

I know "For You," isn't "2010." P.S.~"The Year We Make Contact...yet "For You," will still be my favorite Prince album even after I have heard, "2010."

Sometimes I just know these things.

good point

in my case, it would be that boring yet beautiful girl that I met that summer, and after just a couple of days/nights making reasonably good love (Beginning Endlessly, Sticky Like Glue, Laydown) we stopped seeing each other cuz there was no real chemistry/conversation/brains or whatever (Act of God, Walk in Sand, Everybody Loves Me etc.)

Forget what you heard, this album is one of the best.

The songs could use a work out, making them longer. What you hear leaves you wanting more.

I heard the 3 snippets when they came out but I haven't bothered to hear them in their entirety nor any of the other songs.

Just don't buy a twenty buck version those greedy brits are trying to sell. Gullible Prince fans buy them though. Shame on them.
