Name a Prince CD you haven't listened to 10 times? I'd have to say:
Lotusflow3r (the single disc) - just never grabbed me Planet Earth
I'm probably already up to "oodles" of 20Ten listens since I"ve had it a week; it's been on non-stop.
Y'all???

Chaos & Disorder
Emancipation (Not ALL the way through in one sitting 10 times)
Gold Experience (major skipper for me. The NPG Operator thing makes me fucking crazy)
Goldnigga
High
Planet Earth (I'm not sure, maybe it has been 10 times)
Old Friends For Sale (Again, not all the way through 10 times but the thing has been in the player many times for individual tracks)
Elixir (does that count as a Prince album?)

Well I can't ever remember making the monumental commitment to listen to Emancipation ALL THE WAY through in one sitting more than once. The single discs certainly got listens.
Same with me and Planet Earth. As I was thinking back, maybe it got up to 10 total? Maybe not.
Elixir doesn't count. I don't think I gave it one solid listen.
Old Friends. You bring up a point. That one would be hard to confirm at least 10 listens.

Goldnigga is the debut NPG album. Released in 1993.

i thought the debut album for NPG was released in 1990 following the release of Graffiti Bridge Love Should Last Forever Even If It To The Purple Yoda From Minnesota

Goldnigga was rejected by Warners for release. Prince had copies pressed and sold them on the Act II tour in Europe in '93. The album was then made available through other sources later in the year. Goldnigga never really received large scale distribution, hence it's status as a much sought after collectors item.

The Chocolate Invasion/ The Slaughterhouse stuff, C-note, Xpectation, N.E.W.S., One Nite Alone Live - once. The Rainbow Children - I can count on one hand I've gotten through the CD, and still have fingers to spare.
Goldnigga - twice, maybe 3 times.
Lotusflow3r set - see TRC.
Musicology - see TRC.
For You - just never clicked into that album, so probably under 10.
One Nite Alone - well under 5.

REALLY?!?
Are you listening to it on cassette or vinyl, cuz CD's & MP3's are extremely easy to program those tracks out...

One Night Alone Live - I've only listened to the last disc. Never listened to the others at all. Not once.
Planet Earth - Just don't like this one. Never sat quite right with my earballs.
20ten - Not yet, I don't think. But I will for sure.
Elixer - May have listened to it close to ten times. But once I picked out the few songs that I actually like (mostly just the ones that Prince is most clearly part of), I never found a reason to listen to the other tracks again.

Planet Earth (Really only like maybe 2 tracks on there) The Rainbow Children "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare

For me, it would have to be Lovesexy. Its not that I don't like it because I absolutely LOVE it but I just cant take not being able to choose the songs I want to listen to. I am forced to listen to the whole album because of the stupid single track thing. I love all of the songs but sometimes I am just in the mood for certain songs and I skip this album because of the tracking. Purple Music is my drug and I'm jonesin!!!!!

1996: Chaos and Disorder (5 years ago I wrote enough here at prince.org about this worst Prince cd of all times)
1998: Crystal Ball / The Truth (exhausting and most of the material was well-known bootleg footage)
1999: Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic (the video 1.000 times but from the cd only "Everyday is a winding road" found it´s way on many of my compilations)
2001: The Rainbow Children (boring´sect´story, annoying voice, some great funk beads)
2002: One Nite Alone… Live! (dozens of bootlegs a hundred times but this one maybe twice)
2003: N.E.W.S (only the west worthwhile a visit, and this one only after 4 minutes.. and forget the last 3 minutes too)
2004: Musicology (title track and 3 others a hundred times)
2007: Planet Earth (my routine was: skip, skip, skip, skip, Future Baby Mama, skip, skip, Chelsea Rodgers)
Never noticed that so clear: from 1997 till 2004 was a hard prince-time for me, only some rare german concerts keep my head above water.

Once, while on a kick of rediscovery with that record, I dubbed one lazy sunday the "Around The World For A Day" and put the record on repeat for the entire day while I cleaned around my house and did some projects. That day alone kicked me well past the 10 listens mark.
