I liked 1999 (song) but did not know it was prince.

Became a fan in 1984, then found out about 1999....

so that is about 26 years

I fell inlove with Prince in 1978 @Don Kirsners rock Concerts and never looked back.The man has taken me through every emotion and every era of my life and his.My love for hime will never die,only mature. He is a blessing to the world.

Hi to all the other Austrian fans on here! Looks like all of us went to the Vienna show and got a kick out of it ... ... no wonder, the first chance we got to see him in our country for 17 years (as far as I know?)!!! I dare to say that had Prince come back earlier, we would also have been more active as fans over a longer period of time already. At least I know that is the case with me ... I so loved his concert and there is no doubt that he would have swept me off my feet years ago if I had seen him, for example, 2007 in London or 2004 in the USA. But better late than never, right?!!

I grew on his music; Controversy is the first Prince song i can consciously remember. But I didn't seriously get into his music until high school in the late 80s/early 90s.

Almost 23yrs!! 1st time I saw Purple Rain, I was hooked!

when I heard "Kiss" in polish version of "So you think you can dance", then I looked for Kiss on youtube and i didn't found it. Two years later i 'reminded about Prince', i again looked for Kiss, i found it, and i am Prince Fan since 28th January 2010.

I'm going to be 43 in November...(the 4th day) as a matter of fact...so I've really been into him for quite some time...I'd say 1979...but REALLY into him during the Dirty Mind album....I gave my first bj to a friend listending to "Head" I know, too much info...but I don't care!

Since 1989... i was waiting for the Batman movie, saw the CD in the store , bought it and became a fan;)

Since Feb 1990. I was 18, it's a long musical love story...
