cause when he writes a song about losing someone he loves

it just turns out really good and you start to symphatize his pain

"Adore" was his ode to Susannah

it's twisted but it's also very lovely

Both awesome, but "Adore" always wins out.

The Beautiful Ones,,,,by a far mile. He was so emotionally charged in that song. I prefer the extended unreleased version though.

I'd go with The Beautiful Ones over Adore, by a fraction of a fraction of an inch. Both are classic tunes.

Both are two of the best ballads, musically, I've ever heard; that said, I guess I prefer the Beautiful Ones because I'm a more "Do You Want Him? OR DO YOU WANT ME!?" kind of guy than the "Until the End of Time, I'll be there for you" () type

Both are masterpieces but if only one of them could have existed I would've chosen Adore.

These two songs should not be compared in the same category. They are two different types of ballads.

Seriously. They are both amazing songs. Purple Rain wouldn't be Purple Rain without Beautiful Ones, that whole "I know what I want, yeah..." with the wide eyes and the shirt tugging! And I just sang my non-singing ass off to Adore in the shower about an hour ago. I can't choose. I just can't.

The Beautiful Ones.

One of the hardest questions ever. The Beautiful Ones is a superb song and an absolute classic, possibly the best type of song Prince can come up with. Its a real quiver in his bow, and would annihilate any contenders except .............. ADORE, that song is truly the greatest song ever written by anyone, its my absolute favourite of all time and its invincible.

Sorry Beautiful Ones, your time is up, y'all besutiful and I love you and all, but I just don't ADORE you.
