Less than seven days after emailing The Daily Mirror about 20Ten not being in the newspaper, they shipped me a copy. Not bad. Be sure to include the tracking code that is printed on the order confirmation page.

What I would give to be a fly on the wall of whatever room Prince tried to negotiate a US deal for "20Ten".

'Cause it looks more and more like a US release is a no-go. If Prince hadn't screwed up Lotu$flower.com so bad, he could have released it that way as a last resort.

If he had promoted LotusFlow3r properly, then maybe more copies would have sold, Target would have made more money, and other outlets might be interested in doing the same thing with 20Ten.

Because of his attitude that he made his money, now he's done, Target is stuck with tons of copies at $4.99 or less, other outlets see this and stay clear of doing the exclusive deal with Prince.

I'm not even waiting for it. Whatever he decides to do is up to him. For fans here, they're waiting and waiting to see what he would do with it, for Prince, this is just another album he put in his discography, next year he's adding another one.

He can't negotiate a deal. A 'deal' usually benefits two parties in some way and Prince makes it obvious he's only interested in numero uno.

20Ten is dead in the water Stateside because it was never entered his head to release it there. He's probably not bothered. Paid, toured and done with it.

Anybody in the USA that wants it hard enough, can get it easily. Thing is, beyond the hardcore, nobody really does, and Prince knows that.

I emailed them yesterday and got a reply that it went out yesterday... suspicious! but I hope it's on its way now.
