I'll be the first to tell you that I criticize prince in an OVER THE TOP way when I'm disappointed, but I just stumbled across this song again... and this is one of Prince's finest moments.

This song sounds better TODAY, than 90 percent of the music that's played on the radio!

It's songs like this that in my opinion, reaffirm my fanship.

This is why I forgive crap like Everybody Loves Me, and Purple and Gold.

This is why I buy all those records. This is why I go to all those concerts.

This is why I've seen Under the Cherry Moon 87 times!!!!

But then again... this song wasn't written by Prince, was it? This was that "Symbol" guy.

Oh, let's cut the crap. This is Prince, at his finest. One of his best tunes.

I think the vocals are great!

For me Emancipation is gold all the way through. (yes, even "Da, Da, Da" and "Mr. Happy") It seems obvious that Prince was inspired to do some of his best work on that album and I'm still hoping that he can do it again. Lotusflow3r probably came the closest but I still think he's got another calssic album in him, hopefully a string of classic albums.

Enthusiasm is just great.

I like the Live Studio Version. That's about all i liked Emancipation era.

It's one of the songs on my single disc edit of the Emancipation set.

A very fine slow-burning number RUINED by a dreadful production, just like the 80% of Emancipation, quite possibly his worst produced album of the 90s (and perhaps of his career!!)
