Has the initial shock worn off?

Are the songs sticky like glue? Or have they slipped into obscurity?

I think 20Ten is dope, I rocked it on repeat for quite a while but I have yet to play it in about a week since I try to keep things fresh and switch it up.

It is new--so why wouldn't I listen to it for a while....or anyone else who just got it?!

Yeah, It's a really good album. Great lightweight, harmless pop with no excessive demands. Ear candy.

I have listened to the cd bits and pieces since I got it. I still like it alot.

Does anyone want to hear Prince jam out some of these songs like I do?! How do you get over something so quick that just came out?!

Of course, I listen to it everyday. It's very nice summer album. FUN album.

I find it rather boring. Not inspirational at all. One of the weakest - if not the weakest of his albums. But I have to be fair: only got it yesterday, so perhaps I'll think differently in a year or so...

Surprisingly, yes. It's not even a 'forced' listen like the three times I listened to Planet Earth. I'm really enjoying it.

Yes, daily and I love it. Even songs such as "Walk In Sand" are getting a lot of play which surprises me because I generally don't like those type of songs as much as the uptempo funkier stuff.

I'm digging this album, a LOT.

Me too.

Not recently lol I'm quite random with my album selection though.

I listened to it a lot the first week, but haven't really touched it since.

I'll go back to it when I'm over my Black Sabbath phase.

I'll spin it as a whole album for the remainder of the month and afterwards, I'll be choosing select songs to make a Prince greatest hits type cd with MPLSound and Planet Earth.

I've started listening to other things now, but I dare to say how many times I've spun the album altogether......in other words ALOT!

But i'm still listening to a good few tracks here and there....I CAN'T SAY JUST HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE THIS ALBUM

I like it....and when he says" Here comes the purple yoda" I get psyched. Only Prince can make it seem cool. Love that song too!

Killer slow jams on their too. I would like to see Prince do a straigh r&b album...something in the vain of Maxwell.

I sure do. I'm trying to break myself from playing it but once I play one song from there, I can't stop listening to the rest of the CD from the point I started at. I'm truly loving this CD and it's freaking me out because I can't stop playing it.

Well I've stated before that tracks 2-8 (add 10 if u want) is pretty much a Prince RnB album.

And knowing Prince (sort of) he prolly has made a few already. Whether we hear it or not is another story.

Was listening to it everyday but have taken a break from it for the past two days, when i hear things repeating constantly it does my head in after awhile but doesnt mean i dont like it less, just had to put on some different type of music, played some Specials, some House music etc, bored of that now! going back to listen to 20Ten today

Agreed. I can't listen to any one artist or style of music all night. I have to switch it up. Makes me appreciate the music more.

lol...it hasn't been that long, but I still listen to it everday on the way to work and back home

Really like 20Ten and i think we will see it as one of his great classic albums in years to come.

I have not played it since Sunday. In fact I made a 90s best of Prince cd and been jamming on that. Also made a Huey Lewis and the News Best of since they came in concert. Been rocking that too. I dont have much desire to listen to 20ten.

Yes! Still daily airplay, especially during the run on the track or riding the metro. Walk In Sand is a must for me, Future Soul Song became stronger, Sea of Everything grew on me, lovin' the funk on Act of God, and Everybody Loves Me & Laydown are fun and cool respectively.
