No, I was completely following the conversation. I am fully aware you were speaking about people on your show. I read all of that. And I say again... opinions are just that. I am not trying to be combative with you, I am simply saying that I feel there are several folks here that have honest opinions, but others will constantly berate and belittle those opinions. Just like you stated...the people on your show, most of which are here on the org, have real opinions on the album. I am sure lots of folks feel they have real opinions, but they get knocked down. It just seems like a constant battle. (from both ways) [Edited 8/4/10 19:26pm] -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

Just listened to the whole album twice. Very carefully.
My thoughts are that Prince is in absolutely fantastic form as a musician and vocalist. Excellent! His voice sounds like it hasnt aged at all! His playing on the instruments is fluid and sharp.
But the songwriting ....is just not there.
As with all his albums through this entire decade and most of the 90's, ....these are very pedestrian, unremarkable songs, performed by an extremely talented man.

I like to see this album as a collection of outtakes/b-sides from the eighties, and seen in that light I think there is not much more that I could have wished for. To me this is probably his best album in about 15 years. Keep 'em coming like this, Prince!
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

It's a masterpiece. Need to hear Act of God live, infact the album would be awesome! "Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

Yeah, it's a good album, specially if we consider that this year, so far, the 90% of new albums released are not even "average" to begin with...
thanks Prince, for at least giving us a fine album during this crappy 2010...

I love the order of the songs and the way and they flow in to one another. He hasn't produced an album this strong this 3121, and I am at a toss up for which I think is stronger. (Still like 3121 pretty good)
Where are the videos though? And no Prince, the internet is not dead, and you would be wise to promote yourself through it. Is it such a crime to have a site that has free access and advertise for yourself Prince? Hosting and domain are NOT that expensive! Heck, give me a call and I will set you up pretty cheap.
Also, I dont care too much for the CD artwork. This is what happens when you let someone with ADD play with photoshop. We are all so full of here
