I would take NEWS, Xpectation, and One Nite Alone Piano over 20ten anyday. I suppose that is why I like Walk In Sand so much. It could have fit on One Nite Alone perfectly.

Worst - New Power Soul

Not counting any of the instrumental albums as proper albums. Also, I need more time to process 20ten, right now I'm not sure it's any better than New Power Soul in my book.

Well, I don't know about best/worst so I'll go with my favourite/least favourite:

Favourite: Emancipation

Least favourite: Diamonds and Pearls

Best: Lovesexy

Worst: Chaos and Disorder

Best: Sign O The Times

Worst: One Nite Alone

Best: Sign O The Times

Worst: The Rainbow Children

If anything this list proves that no "purple yoda" or man is going to please everyone's tastes.

Purple Rain will always be my "ultimate best" Prince album, followed by Sign O' The Times.

If I were going to comment, THAT would be the manner in which I would. Each of his albums have their own mood or flavor, and I don't see any of them in terms of "Best" or "Worst".

That being said, I have given this a little thought over the past several days. And while it's hard to pick just one in either catagory, I'd pick my FAVORITE album in terms of: If I had to spend the rest of eternity on a deserted island, what ONE Prince album would I want to take along? And my answer would be a toss up between "Sign 'o' The Times" and "1999". As far as which would be my LEAST FAVORITE: I'd base that on how I felt about it the first time I heard it, and by the number of times I've played it since. And that would be a toss up between "Chaos & Disorder" and "Old Friends For Sale".

But I should also note: The thing about me and Prince, even the albums that I would list as my least favorite, I recognize as being very well produced. And I also reserve the right to feel better about them, should I ever give them more EAR-time.
