Maybe it's the southern manners that I'm used to receiving from the men in Texas, but damn - you ever hear of 'ladies first?' Show the woman a little respect...sheesh!
just a thought...I'm not disagreeing with you, but do you think if he knows there are cameras around that the photo perspective of him in front gives him a little height advantage. Imagine if the photo had him and Bria trade places...she would look like a giant walking in front of him...nonetheless surely he is chivalrous when the cameras aren't around...
It does make him look bigger when she is behind him. |

maybe your right sugar but still damn prince have some respect the height different shouldn't matter if your in love
maybe she walks to slow for him
Absolutely - height shouldn't matter if you're in love. I dated a man the same height as me, but I generally wear heels, so I was always taller than him. When we went out, he was proud to walk along side of me and still treat me like a lady.
Maybe this attitude is for the cameras. I don't know. But I love a man who shows a little tenderness for the woman he is into.
My man likes me to walk in front of him so he can look at my a$$. When we go into a restaurant or a crowded place, he like to lead. It's his way of letting everyone know that I came with him and I am leaving with him |

Yes. There is no such thing as a short-sleeve dress shirt. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

Dress shirts are not really something I like anyway, but there's no difference to me if they have long or short sleeves . There are some really cool modern ones with short sleeves and most with long sleeves are damn boring. And he coud have just worn a t-shirt. Prince would never wear anything that would a) make him look smaller next to Bria, b) show any sort of middle-aged "softness" in the torso, or c) reveal same in his ass. (Not that either b or c exist - I'm just sayin'.) Which a t-shirt would (to say nothing of a Purple Rain-style undershirt). We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

She is not wearing too much makeup. She looks absolutely LOVELY! Hair and face are ON!
Some folk like and enjoy makeup.
Why must people always imply that a woman wearing makeup (especially if she likes a dramatic look and can pull it off) or dressed in heels is somehow being forced to do so.
That is a ridiculous notion and actually sort of offensive to that woman. It doesn't make a woman any better or deeper than the next because she doesn't want to bother with those things.
Bria has the choice. She could choose to not wear any of that. Not be with Prince. Not be in front of cameras. I doubt there's a stylist with a lipstick in one hand and a gun in the other in their hotel room.

I strongly suspect that if Prince met a no-makeup-wearin' woman who enjoyed being that way, he'd leave her to her own devices. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

Being the king of eyeliner (as well as foundation and eyeshadow let's not forget those) it makes perfect sense to me that Prince would prefer a made-up woman.
But Prince or no Prince, just in general. It irks me that natural women often have this attitude toward women who like to enhance. Oddly enough those women get picked on/criticized/pittied/dismissed, more often than not, during some supposedly pro-woman rant. [Edited 7/15/10 12:40pm] |

Love this picture. They both look hot in it. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all." |
