I really feel like these last two albums are a very good measuring stick. The people who like and dislike 20ten and Lotus seperate the Org into two catagories:

#1. The fans with good musical taste, they champion Prince's triumphs and will be critical of his shortcomings (these are the people who can admit to themselves and others that the last two albums were TRAGIC missteps)

#2 The crazy fams who'll eat any old piece of garbage Prince serves them with a smile on their face (These are the people who try and convince themselves that 20ten and Lotus are anything even approaching halfway decent music)

What category am I if I like Lotusflow3r but think 20ten sucks. Just curious because I need validation from random anonymous forum members who like to generalize and put people in groups.

Lol, I would say you are simply someone who listens to Prince. His music is so diverse, it reaches people with very different taste. You might not like this album, big deal, another one is on the way and you may feel very differently about it. That is just the way it is.

As for anyone who would trash you because of your opinion, well the org is just filled with that. But so is life. Some people are very zealous about their taste in music, maybe because music is a powerful vehicle that tends to define a piece of us. IOW, if you attack the music I like, then you are attacking me.

Same goes with religion, sex, and politcal veiw points. Music can make us feel right or wrong about something, and in some ways blends with our value system.

This is art. Or at least a slice of why it is important even if we don't understand that art is working in us. You don't have to be a house builder to think that you have the best house in the world, you simply have to acknowledge it is home, and it becomes personal, and you will defend it.

those tracks are quality.

MPLSound has a handful of good songs as well.
