He probably would but if you heard what Kevin Smith said what he heard he did with the videos, chances are we won't ever get to see them. lol

Honestly why should he, no one is gonna play them. This track is probably to me at least, his best riff in eons, its been so long since Prince has had something memorable in terms of riff or keyboard line, i mean this song alone is worth the price of the cd if it makes it to the USA.

I agree the guitar/keyboard riffs are so FUNKY in it. nod Makes it more than tolerable. nod

You didn't say anything but the truth! The keyboards and the synths have been stuck in my head for days! It's too funky for me! lol

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I have listened two times to 20Ten now and three times to Beginning Endlessly. At this point it seems like the best song on the album. The synth riff is very hot.

Fantastic. 'Soldier of Love' incorporated into a Prince idea. Brilliant song. Superb synths... just magic. I do believe that Prince just remembered where he left his career, in 1988.

boring monotonous track on an otherwise cool album. Sounds like a 2002 NPGMC left over.

Play them? He doesn't need anybody to "play them". All he would need to do is release them to YouTube, Vimeo or even The Org and they'd get hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of views. Then there's that little thing he had called Lotusflow3r.com where 99% of what he streamed was old and boring.

Might get flamed for this. But after 4 days of listening this could be the best Prince song for many many years !!

Magic synth and I actually really like singing along too. The longer the song goes on, the more powerful the synth and vamp become. It's incredible!

cool

I can't image how amazing this song sounds on a good stereo. Unfortunately I won't be able to experience that, but for those of you who can, enjoy!

It looks that way. What happened? Glad it happened, but a little in shock, and the feeling grows with each listen.

It sounds phenomenal in my car. Also pretty good on phones too, but you don't get the synth line through your chest in the same way cool

The synths are the most interesting part of the first half of this track. It really reminds me of something, though, but I can't put my finger on it and it's driving me crazy. lol The last minute and a half or so is when the track really comes alive, though.

...maybe Don Henley's "Sunset Grill"? No seriously, it was from the same album as "All She Wants To Do Is Dance"(i believe the CD's entitled "Building The Perfect Beast" but don't quote me-though i just used quotations lol)--and an album that featured prominent linn and synth usage. I haven't actually listened to this recently nor hear a conclusive sonic link, it's simply that it had been nagging me as well, and when i saw you express the same it just sort of came to me. I'll investigate and edit w/followup!

EDIT: well...yeah, maybe...there's certainly similarity there to me, though i still won't say it's conclusive...

I am not completely giddy about this album yet. I may never be.

But, and I don't throw this around lightly each time a new Prince album is released, this may be my favorite song of his since The Gold Experience.

I have become absolutely enamored with it.

I love everything about it from start to finish.

The beat. The synths. The vocals. Lyrics. Everything.

Bloody fuckin brill.

Now then. Interesting. Made my ears prick up instantly. Keyboard riff is great. Singing style/harmonies are very interesting and drag you kicking and screaming into the song.

Lyrics, well, bit meh, but to be honest, it just sounds so different & fresh that I'm happy to let the lyrics slide on this one.

happy with this one. Does sound a bit like he's saying 'Beginning in Leslie' love the chicken scratch guitar.

blah blah blah

Meh. Just listened to this song yet again, but I could not tell you what it was about or hum the melody or recite some of the lyrics...

• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Probably my favourite song on the album actually, but would like to hear it with a less cheesy synth sound.

Agreed.Monotonous, boring and loud. Tries to be When Doves Cry but there's really nothing there but some early 00's era, psudo militaristic NPGMC stuff.

I skip it every time. Its breaks the 80s mood between the fun Compassion and the brilliant FSS, SLG and Lavaux.
