You are famous musician,you need guitar player So imagine you are well known singer or musician and you can afford Prince to play guitar on your track Would you call Prince to play lead or rhythm guitar and why? | |

no because prince would just hit his flanger with distortion and call it a solo or play his 3 note jazz funk chord lic or play a 3 note solo with a harmonizer pedal
now if i was a famous guitar player (ahem) id definately have him do some vocals .. that is a whole nutha story all together | |

Definately not Prince. He's great, but never acknowledges it with his usually laid back style. Anyone could play the typical Prince song. He barely ever ramps it up until the very end of a song. | |

Nah I'd get Jesse Johnson or Vernon Reid, or Buckethead, or Brad Whitford or Jimmy Page or Buck Dharma, etc, etc. I think I would just have Prince write and play the whole song and just let me sing | |
