Is it just me or does NOW screw up GOLD EXPEREINCE? I think that the Gold Experience is Prince's best CD of the 90's but NOW screws up the flow of the CD...

Yeah! The shame is, I think there's a decent song buried in there somewhere, but I can't be bothered to listen for it anymore.

I like it live better than in studio, but its okay with me. I still think the worst song on there is We March and I like that song.

IMO, ´We March´ screws it. If ´Interactive´, ´Days of Wild´ and ´The Ride´ were included in the album, it would have been almost perfect. I wouldnt mind if ´319´, ´Shy´ and ´We march´ were replaced by these ones.

I think it's the horrible chanted b/ground vocals on the chorus that kills 'Now' stone dead for me. I always that it sounded dated. That and it has that familiar odour of Shit Hop about it.

"Shy" is what fucks up TGE. I took it out and my playlist, and blended the sounds on either end together as part of the segue between "319" and "Billy Jack Bitch". I never miss it.

the Gold Experience is perfect.

I love Now. Hell I love every track on this funk-pop-rock masterpiece....

Agreed. Yet when Gold came out, "Shy" and "We March" were the two songs that had not been leaked yet (studio versions , anyways), so I played the hell out of them. Funny now those are the two I skip nearly 100% of the time.
