I'm not a diehard fan so I don't have Sign O The Times(despite knowing it's good rep and having about 10 other Prince albums) though I have other albums, but I just discovered Hot Thing and I think it's a masterpiece and I'm going to play it a few times tonight!

This is probably my least favorite song on SOTT. I skip it most of the time and I'm not really sure why I hate it.

It could be cause of the repitition but it builds up well IMO

If you are a Prince die hard fan you probably own "Rave", if your just a good music fan, you should own "Sign o' the times", greatest album of the 80s.

Nice that you've discovered Hot Thing - always liked this cut. The harmonies on the vocals are great, there's realy energy to the track and the bassline is great! But.....GET THE ALBUM.....damn!

My favorite part is when you can really here that synth bass towards the end...

My face lit up when I heard the drum pattern of Hot Thang. As if the whole song is on heat, the gongs, the swirling synths, and the vocals just seems to growl. There is an undeniable sense of sexuality in this song. It prowls with the sole intent of seducing. And that it did.
