What a day! I've heard songs I never knew existed

I'm willing to bet all of these are known to most of you, but maybe not. Anyway, I had never heard them before today. Wow, these bring back to good old days so STRONG!

Woot!

Here's what I've discovered:

1. Uh Huh - the full version

2. Wow

3. The Voice Inside

4. Good Man

5. Spirit

6. Teacher Teacher

7. You

8. Be My Mirror

9. If I Could Get Your Attention

10. Stone

11. Train

Rock on!

the Voice Inside is from the Lovesexy - Batman years

You is from the pre Dirty Mind Rebels project with Gail Chapman on vocals(his keyboardist at the time)

7. You

11. Train

A couple of my favorites right here. BTW You was released in some form on a Paula Abdul record in the mid 80's, I believe.

Isn't it great when you hear some of those outtakes you've never heard before and they're just so good?!

smile I know what you mean.

I recently heard these songs for the first time too. I was just amazed. Where did he get time to record all these...

any time I have doubts of Prince's genius, I usually find some stuff I never heard before... then the doubts are gone. there's always something more...

I just heard "Miss Understood" sung by Susannah Melvoin a couple of weeks ago.

Love the sound, but Susannah on lead vox was a little blah...listening to her sing background for all these years, I thought she had a much better voice.

But yeah...fresh old boots are awesome!

Some of these I have...some I have to track down. I like Train...something about it is just plain fun.

So many tunes I missed that I have to track down.

Old unheard tunes make me love him all over again.

She does have a better voice, Susannah after hearing it told Prince not 2 use it. They should have had it as a B side for the Family album.

I think it's the way she saying it too, Prince had a few of the protege women sing like that on songs Vanity 6 Sheila & Jill Jones

Thunderball's Dream Factory boot is a two disc set.

Disc 1 the album, Disc 2 the outtakes, with Teacher Teacher, In a Large Room..., It's a Wonderful Day, etc.

Ahh, I see--thanks for that tidbit. I didn't know it was a 2-disc set. Hmmm, I have only disc 1. Guess it's diggin' time for disc 2.....

There is a 1989 version of "You" or "U" with Prince on vocals, that's more likely to be the one being referenced here.
